The National Surf Circuit 2010
The Nicaraguan National Surf Circuit announces the 2010 Series. Competitors will comp in a three venue series with the winner of each category being the one with the most accumulated points and being crowned as the National Surf Champions. The 3 tournaments are between April and July on the country´s best beaches based on the quality of the waves as well as having the infrastructure to hold such an event. Normally about 120 surfers enter each event, in the following categories: Juniors (under 18 years old), Open, Women & Long board.
Locals as well as National and International tourists swell the crowds to about 500 spectators at each event on he circuit (as well as the surf party after).
Each of the locations puts on a two day (Saturday & Sunday) event.
This year’s events:
• Playa Las Peñitas (Department of León)
April 24th and 25th
• Playa Santana, Tola (just north of SJdS)
May 22nd and 23er
• Playa Maderas, San Juan del Sur
July 10th and 11th
The Nicaraguan National Surf Circuit is a non-profit organization created in 2006 by the initiative of Javier Baldovinos and Ricardo Morales. The Goals of the Circuit are to:
• Promote surfing among the youth from the Pacific Coast of Nicaragua
• Encourage the conscience of preservation of our surf breaks, beaches and their natural environment.
• Promote National and International Tourism in our beautiful coast line.
• Develop and support local surfers and communities
• Represent Nicaragua at International events with the Nicaraguan National Team.

The Nicaraguan National Surf Circuit is offering a number of attractive Sponsorships Plans
PLATINUM
• The 2010 National Circuit will have the name of the PLATINUM Sponsor. (Example: 2010 CLARO National Surf Circuit). During the whole year it will have the brand’s name in all media and press release.

Circuito Nacional de Surf 2010
El Circuito Nacional de Surf de Nicaragua anuncia la serie 2010. Los competidores participarán en una serie de tres eventos con un ganador para cada categoría, siendo el ganador el que más puntos acumulados tenga y será coronado como Campeón Nacional de Surf. Los 3 torneos son entre abril y julio en las mejores playas del país dependiendo de la calidad de las olas, así como contar con la infraestructura para celebrar tal evento. Normalmente, alrededor de 120 surfistas entrar en cada evento, en las siguientes categorías:
• Juniors (menores de 18 años de edad)
• Abierto
• Femenino
• Long bord
Los locales, así como turistas nacionales e internacionales engrosarán la multitud a unos 500 espectadores en cada evento en que circuito (así como la parte de navegación después).
Cada uno de los eventos se compone de dos días (sábado y domingo).
Eventos de este año:
• Playa Las Peñitas (Departamento de León) 24 y 25 de abril.
• Playa Santana, Tola (justo al norte de SJDS) 22 y 23 de mayo.
• Playa Maderas, San Juan del Sur
10 y 11 de julio.
El Circuito Nacional de Surf de Nicaragua es una organización sin fines de lucro creada en 2006 por iniciativa de Javier Baldovinos y Ricardo Morales. Los Objetivos del Circuito son los siguientes:
• Promover el surf entre los jóvenes de la costa del Pacífico de Nicaragua.
• Fomentar la conciencia de la preservación de los sitios de surf, playas y su entorno natural.
• Promover a nivel Nacional e Internacional el Turismo en nuestra línea costera.
• Desarrollar las comunidades y apoyar a los surfistas locales.
• Representar a Nicaragua en eventos internacionales con el Equipo Nacional de Nicaragua.
