INTUR will Train SJdS Tour Guides

On the 7th of February, INTUR (the Government Tourism Institute) conducted a briefing on the Tour Guide Course to be held in the month of July. This training will be carried out with funds from the National Tourism Program and allocated to the Municipal Promotional Office (Casa de Promoción Municipal by the Central Park, informed Gloria Libertad Romero, Delegate for the National Tourism Program for San Juan del Sur.

This briefing was attended by 33 local tour guides who in the month of April will be interviewed one by one and will be given a test to identify attitudes and skills.

Ms. María Victoria Castillo, Head of Training from the Central INTUR Office expressed satisfaction at the success of the event and the enthusiasm shown by the young guides.

El pasado 7 de febrero, el INTUR realizo una reunión informativa sobre el Curso de Guías Turísticos que se realizara en el mes de Julio, como parte de las capacitaciones a realizarse con fondos asignados al Programa Nacional de Turismo, en la Casa de Promoción Municipal, informo la Lic. Gloria Libertad Romero, Delegada Programa Nacional de Turismo para San Juan del Sur.

A esta reunión informativa asistieron 33 guías turísticos locales quienes en el mes de Abril serán entrevistados uno a uno y se les realizará un examen para identificar actitudes y habilidades.

La Lic. María Victoria Castillo, Responsable del Área de Capacitaciones de INTUR Central, expresó su satisfacción ante el éxito de la convocatoria y el entusiasmo presentados por los jóvenes.
