Problem is, in relation the “turtle tour” incident, the offenders were caught and sent to trial. The prosecution failed (that’s being diplomatic) to remand them in custody and then failed to get them convicted.
So at what point would the reward be paid out?

Has anyone discussed the possibility of raising a reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the people responsible for this and/or similar incidents south of town (i.e. turtle tour)? I’d think it would be worthwhile for the the tourist businesses just to protect their revenue, and individuals could throw in a few bucks, too. Community likely to support and/or benefit from such an approach? Likely to produce results?

I believe it was $125 each for a 6 or 7 minute ride. You will have to contact them.
