So, in all that reading, crime never got a mention, or not enough to out you off?

Err.. that would be the Courts job, not the Police.

“My family was to bring into your country $500,000.00. This money was to be spent on homes and maybe open a business to help the economy with the intent to create jobs. If you could prove to my without a doubt that your location is a safe place to live, we might still come down, and the police do their job, and are not corrupted in any way. Until then we will stay where we are at and look to another location to live. I will continue to read your paper.”

I have been talking to my brother about where I would like to live when I retire. It was Nicaragua. I have done quite a bit of reading on your country, and for the most part it sounded like a perfect place to finish my life. My brother and I were to fly to your country in July, and purchase a lot and put a home on it. After reading your news paper online with the crime in such a small area compared to where I am from. It is apparent that the police are doing nothing to stop these criminals. The police are not setting a example of these criminals by giving them extreme sentences. It is obvious because in the news letter you describe how the criminals work. My family was to bring into your country $500,000.00. Cada día el costo de la vida se eleva, la canasta básica se vuelve inalcanzable para un segmento de la población nicaragüense económicamente activa, Es decir la demanda y la oferta carecen de un rigoroso control, en el momento menos indicados se disparan los productos sin que el gobierno haga nada para favorecer el bolsillo de su sufrido pueblo, ya ve usted hoy la libra de frijoles valen 7.50 Siete Cincuenta, ya mañana se les antoja y el precio de este producto vale 15.00 Quince Córdobas para citar un ejemplo.

We don’t have an E subscription right now (working on it). We load the new edition up every Thursday if Union Fenosa a.k.a. Gas Natural (the electric company) lets us. Its always ready on-line just before we deliver the real thing on Thursday night.

Naci en Haiti y vivo en Canada. Pienso que es un buen proyecto que estan haciendo por los pueblos de la municipia. Mi esposo y yo tuvimos una mala experienca en San Juan del Sur durante el dia. La cerradura del coche que alquilamos de Budjet fue quebrado durante los 30 minutos que bajamos en la calle central para disfrutar de un cocktel de pescado. Llevaron con todos las maletas. Nosotros miramos cuando estuvimos comiendo que la policia turistica estaba mirando un juego de volley en la playa. Â¿No tienen que protejer nos mientras que visitamos este lugar muy bonito? No queremos regressar o recommendar que otros visitian a San Juan. Dejamos las malettas en Rivas y en Granada en el coche y se paso nada durante el dia!
Por favor, corrigen eso poniendo mas seguridad y asseruga que la policia turistica esta haciendo su trabajo!
